Our Focus

Lil’ Folk Farm’s curriculum focuses on the educational needs of early childhood. We offer a range of experiences specifically designed to assist children socially, emotionally, and intellectually. Our curriculum is based on high interest themes that follow the seasons and holidays throughout the school year. We schedule a number of special activities and projects. You will find the details in your monthly newsletter. Parents are encouraged to share their talents, interests, and resources to enrich our existing program. We appreciate your support and involvement. Lil’ Folk Farm’s school programs are in session from September through June. We follow the Scarborough Public School Calendar closings for vacations, teacher workshop days, major holidays, and storm days. Lil’ Folk Farm school hours are from 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. An initial period of adjustment is expected and we appreciate your assistance with a cheerful send off knowing your child is in competent hands. Please be assured that if there is a problem, we will contact you. For your family’s protection, if someone other than a parent is picking your child up from school please be sure that we have received written permission.
